The Firm

This expanding Law firm consisting of 3 offices across Melbourne’s North West and Northern suburbs is highly respected for providing quality and timely services, balanced with a strong internal emphasis on culture and values. They have a genuine dedication to reach the best possible outcomes for their clients and due to a new business acquisition, they now need an experienced Conveyancer to be able to work across the Craigeburn office (2 days) Gladtsone Park office ( 2 days) and Essendon office (1 day a week)

 About the Role

We are looking for a full time Conveyancer who will have flexinity to work across our 3 office.

The primary role will be focusing on managing conveyancing matters from beginning to end. In many conveyancing tasks, deadlines are crucial, therefore the ability to priortise and provide accurate work efficiently is the key to success.

Your day will be varied and would include, but not be limited to:

  • Opening and maintaining files
  • Managing email correspondence
  • Preparing all required documents
  • Conducting company and property searches
  • Liaising with clients and third parties
  • Contract reviews
  • Preparing Sale Documents
  • Attending to State Revenue Office forms, Statements of Adjustments and PEXA settlements
  • General office duties as required

To be successful in this role you will

  • Have exceptional communication and written skills
  • Be highly driven in the area of client service
  • Be self directed and able to operate autonomously
  • Be able to prioritise tasks, respond to client queries promptly and within the firm’s required timeframes
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines
  • Must have Duties online and PEXA experience
  • Have proven ability to be a quick study using conveyancing platforms such as Duties online and PEXA or similar.
  • At least 3 years’ experience
  • Diploma of Conveyancing (advantageous but not essential)
  • Do not require conveyancing license as working under a legal firm
