In addition to our fried chicken, Bonchon offers a full Asian infused menu. WHO YOU ARE

We're looking for a Kitchen Manager who's a natural leader with the capabilities to develop and inspire a team within a growing fast-casual restaurant chain. We want a multi-tasker who’s efficient, energetic, and loves what they do with a roll up the sleeves attitude. The Kitchen Manager will be a strong leader with the ability to guide a kitchen staff. Responsibilities Include:

  • Order ingredients based on demand
  • Supervise kitchen employees and manage service times and standards
  • Oversee the food preparation and cooking process
  • Recruit and train kitchen employees in designated stations
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments
  • Schedule work shifts for employees
  • Ensure receival and handling and preparation of all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, sanitized and organized
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reports
  • Follow all Bonchon best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Manage Par levels
  • Manage and maintain equipment, equipment servicing, and repair as required
  • Ensure BOH food safety program is adhered to.

 

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 year of restaurant Back of House management experience (Asian cuisine would be an advantage)
  • 1-3 years of Front of House management experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
  • Must have a polished and professional demeanor
  • Must have a team oriented, sales and service driven attitude
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and move during shift duties
  • Food Handler’s Certification
  • Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
